The popularity of a weapon is hard to tell honestly unless you're a veteran, but you can kind of tell off the riven disposition. "Popular" weapons like Soma Prime have a low disposition. Unpopular weapons have a strong disposition. However there are a few exceptions like the kohm which is quite good, but becomes godly with a riven. .
